Der STEELWOOD Stuhl von Magis ist, wie der Name schon sagt, aus Metall und Holz hergestellt. Den Designern Ronan und Erwan Bouroullec ging es hier um eine Weiterentwicklung des mittlerweile weit verbreiteten Plastikstuhls und der Produktion von etwas Neuem und Anderem.
Sitzfläche und Beine des STEELWOOD sind aus massiver Buche gefertigt, während die Rücken- und Armlehnen aus Metall bestehen. Die Zusammensetzung dieser beiden Materialien macht aus STEELWOOD einen außergewöhnlichen Stuhl, der mit den herkömmlichen Konventionen bricht. STEELWOOD Stuhl von Magis erhalten sie in vier Variationen: mit Rückenlehne, Beinen und Sitz in weiß, schwarz oder rot oder Beine und Sitz aus Buche natur in Kombination mit einer weißen Rückenlehne.
