The family lighting company Marset produces much more than just simple lamps. The name Marset represents light in its various nuances and effects. Designer lighting by Marset is smart, innovative, refined and contemporary. Marset Discoco produces mesmerizing effects through its play with light and shadow. The lampshade of the Marset Discoco consists of 35 discs that create illuminated highlights and simultaneously dark shadows. Marset Discoco is available as a ceiling lamp as well as a pendant lamp. These are available in many different colours and sizes, which are legible from the respective name. Thus, the Marset Discoco 53 has a diameter of 53cm and the Marset Discoco 88 a diameter of 88cm.
The Marset Maranga series consists of a ceiling, pendant, table and floor lamp. The lampshade of the Marset Maranga Lamp is made of disc-shaped pieces, which are joined together with a chrome-plated metal ring at the top and a prismatically engraved polycarbonate diffuser at the bottom. Light shines gently and warmly through the discs to create zebra stripes of light and dark discs. Marset Maranga’s diffuser produces glare-free light that shines straight downward. The Marset Maranga series is available in a variety of colours.
Another beautiful creation by Marset is the Marset Mercer series, which includes simple yet elegant table, wall, pendant and ceiling lamps. The Marset Mercer lamp is a two-in-one construction. The light body is made of a single piece of glass with an integrated lampshade made out of cotton in white, natural or black. The Marset Mercer is a real gem that shines softly and creates a calm mood throughout the room. The black lampshade of Marset Mercer is lit from within in golden tones and is exemplary of the masterful combination of tradition and modernity – the theme and philosophy behind the renowned brand Marset.

Eine funkelnde Kugel aus vielen einzelnen Scheiben schafft einmalige Lichtverhältnisse: die Marset Discoco 88 Pendelleuchte ist ein augenfälliger Einrichtungsgegenstand, dessen ungewöhnliche Optik die vielfachen Spiegelungen des Lichts angenehm unterstreicht.
Der Designer Christophe Mathieu entwarf für die Marset Discoco 88 Pendelleuchte ein gebogenes Aluminiumgestell, an dem 35 Scheiben (Discs) befestigt sind. Die Scheiben sind auf der Innenseite lackiert und spiegeln so das Licht aus dem Inneren der Pendelleuchte lebendig wider. Je nach Lichtbrechung entstehen verschiedene Effekte, während gleichzeitig nach oben und unten direktes Licht abgegeben wird. Die Scheiben der Marset Discoco 88 Pendelleuchte werden aus gegossenem ABS Kunststoff hergestellt und dank der perfekten Passform ganz einfach auf die verchromte Halbkugel im Inneren aufgebracht. Diese Leuchte wird als "Bausatz" geliefert, es werden jedoch keine Schrauben benötigt. Die Marset Discoco 88 Pendelleuchte ist in verschiedenen Farben sowie in weiß mit einer Kabellänge von 5m erhältlich.
Mit der Marset Discoco 88 Pendelleuchte entstehen unterschiedlich intensive Lichteffekte, die die opulente Form der Pendelleuchte unterstreichen. Durch ihre Größe schafft sie ein gleichmäßiges Stimmungslicht und eignet sich so besonders für große Räume oder den Objektbereich.
