Shipping & Delivery
We ship up to a girth of 3,6m and a weight up to 30kg with the two large, international shipping companies DHL and UPS directly to your front door. Larger or heavier shipments are delivered by forwarding agency.
In exceptional cases, it may come to a direct delivery (drop shipping) from the respective manufacturer to shorten the delivery time. In these cases, unfortunately, we can not provide any details about the shipping company or the tracking number.
In normal circumstances, you will receive your order in one delivery. In the case of partial deliveries different delivery times / days can occur, unfortunately we have no influence on this. We bear the additional costs of the partial dispatches.
Shipping costs Germany / Austria
Up to an order value of € 50,- the shipping costs are € 5,-. If the order value exceeds € 50,-, no shipping costs will be charged. Sometimes additional costs can arise, especially for bulky items. In this case, we will inform you of these costs separately.
Shipping costs Switzerland
Designtolike ships to Switzerland, in which case you will receive a net invoice from us. In order to see the net prices in your shopping cart, please log in to your account and enter your Swiss delivery address. The import charges as well as your local value-added tax will have to be carried you. The following shipping costs are charged to Switzerland:
€ 29,- net with an order value of up to € 200,- net
€ 39,- net with an order value of between € 200 and € 400,- net
The delivery is free of charge (except freight forwarding) if the order exceeds € 400,- net.
The shipping company or the forwarding agency handles the customs and calculates all additional costs (eg fees for customs clearance, import charges and your VAT).
If you provide a German delivery address and a Swiss invoice address, we will provide you with export documents. When you export the goods and send us the documents stamped by the customs office along with your bank details, we will refund the VAT.
Shipping costs Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Polen, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Slovakia, Spain, Czech Republic, Hungary
The shipping costs for deliveries outside of Germany / Austria / Switzerland depend on the respective delivery country and the weight and volume of the shipment:
- Normal parcel shipping costs are € 9,-.
- From an order of € 150,- upwards the parcel delivery is free of charge.
- Larger goods with need to be transported with freight forwarding deliveries will cost extra.
These costs can be requested at any time from us individually. Simply send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your delivery address as well as the item you'd like to purchase.
If goods are not marked as “in stock“, the specification of the delivery time is an approximate value, which is based on the experiences we have with the respective manufacturer. Please note that these are delivery times by the manufacturers and unfortunately we have no influence on these.
In addition, the delivery time depends on, among other things, the chosen method of payment: in the case of payment in advance, the order is placed with the manufacturer or the dispatch only after we have received the money (or receive a receipt of the transfer confirmation). For the sake of completeness, we would like to reiterate that we also depend on the availability of the manufacturers in the case of ordered goods. If the ordered goods are only partially in stock, we will arrange the delivery with you.
If the goods are in stock, the delivery time within Germany is about 1-3 workdays (deliveries abroad might take longer), otherwise it varies according to the chosen product and manufacturer. The approximate delivery times are displayed in our online shop once you’ve chosen a particular product.
Deliveries outside the EU have a longer delivery time.
Our DHL and UPS parcel services offer you the opportunity to track the shipment. As soon as a shipment leaves our premises, you will receive an email from DHL or UPS with your package number. This allows you to track your order and see the estimated delivery day. If you’re receiving your order via drop shipping directly from the manufacturer unfortunately we can not supply you with a tracking number. However, in this case the delivery time is shortened.
If you are not at home at the time of delivery, DHL will leave you a notification card after the first delivery attempt, and you may either pick up your goods yourself from the nearest post office on the following day, or call the telephone number noted on the notification card and arrange a second delivery. Please note that the goods are only stored for 7 days at the post office and the second delivery is only possible two days after the first delivery attempt.
UPS will make three delivery attempts or contact you to arrange an appropriate time. Alternatively, the shipment is deposited at a UPS Access Point near you and you will be informed about it.
In case of delivery via a forwarding agency, the latter will contact you prior to delivery by telephone, SMS or email and will arrange the delivery. This service is free of charge, please note a delivery is only possible from Monday to Friday during normal business hours. Transport is free kerbside, so any further transport to the place of use as well as the disposal of packaging and / or the pallet has to be carried out by you. If you would like to have a specific date (or time window), you must coordinate this with us before we ship and additional costs can arise for you.
Please note the following: If you are not able to take delivery of the goods despite the efforts of the transport company, the items will be returned to us. If this is the case, we have to charge you for additional shipping costs.
